Siege the Stronghold Raid Guide

Intro

is Wing 3's first encounter. While escorting an NPC, open a gate, capture 5 towers, kill a mini-boss, and then open another gate.

You use the following Masteries and mounts:

The escort special role must be able to easily use their SAK (special action key)。 Having other players also able to easily use their SAK helps in emergencies.

Opening the Gate

You start before a drawbridge that lowers when you go near it. Scholar Glenna is at the tent near the raid wing's entrance.

If you're the escort, move Glenna to white AoEs to open gates and make ley lines. If you're tower group or portal-maker, go through the cave, moving between Thicket Waters, to the first tower; later, use ley lines to go to the other towers. Capture towers to stop turret AoEs, so the squad and Glenna can go forward. If you're a ground or back-warg-killer, kill Warg Bloodhounds before they kill Glenna. Finally, kill the mini-boss, so Glenna can open the gate.

The encounter begins when you talk to Glenna.

Escorting Glenna

If you're the escort, stay near Glenna, use Over Here! to move her to white AoEs, and keep her safe (away from enemies, mines, and attacks)。 If you're non-escort, after Glenna creates the first ley line, glide over, and then use the nearby lever, so the escort can move her.

The escort keeps Glenna alive by staying with her and moving her away from danger with the SAK. Move her to white AoEs to create ley lines and open gates.

Glenna gains 15 stacks of decreases when no players are within 1,000 range of her, and increases when players are near her. At 0 stacks, 4 enemies spawn on her to kill her.

To move Glenna, the squad gets the SAK 。 Only the escort uses it!

Glenna runs to where was used. If you move afterward, she won't move to you until you use Again.

If other players use ,Glenna moves unpredictably, making it more likely that she'll run into a mine or enemies.

Keep Glenna behind the squad, away from enemies, mines, and other attacks.

Heal her as needed.

The escort moves Glenna to the drawbridge. Glenna creates a ley line across the gap.

Glide across the ley line. Use the nearby lever to raise the drawbridge, allowing Glenna to follow.

Move Glenna to the gate's white AoE. Stay away from the bomb's AoE!

Pre-Towers

After opening the gate, if you wipe, the drawbridge stays up and the gate stays open.

Go past the opened gate. Kill the enemies.

If going to the first tower, enter the nearby cave entrance.

If you're tower group or the portal-maker, go into the Tunnel of Respite; while avoiding enemies and their Pulls, move between Thicket Waters. Outside of the cave, when you're ready to capture the first tower, use the Bouncing Mushroom.

Surviving the Tunnel of Respite ("Cave")

To avoid the enemies, use blocks, dodges, Stability, and Swiftness. Be careful near the middle and end! The enemies there are more difficult!

The cave is filled with and mushroom enemies. Run through water pools and avoid enemy attacks.

Clearing Mines

Mines instantly kill players and Glenna when they walk into the red AoE ring. They cannot be avoided, blocked, or through.

Destroy the mines while standing past the white AoE ring. Don't touch the red AoE ring! Standing in the safe area makes the mine attackable.

To kill mines, ONLY move past the WHITE AoE ring, and then attack the mine. Don't move past the RED AoE ring! The mine instantly kills you!

Before they respawn, an orange AoE appears. When the orange AoE fills, the mine is active again.

Be careful when fighting on the ground! Mines respawn, and enemies use Fear and Knockbacks! When mines respawn, their AoEs fill with orange before reactivating.

Be careful when fighting enemies near mines! They use ,which can make you go into mines.

Kill the enemies before continuing to the main path.

The back-warg-killer stays by the tent (near the first group of enemies), where the back spawns.

If you're the back-warg-killer, wait at the tent for Warg Bloodhounds; if needed, call for help (1–2 DPS, if the warg's high HP); after killing 4 wargs, go to the squad.

Clearing the Path

Capture 5 towers to stop from bombarding the path to the gate.

Don't go into the AoEs! They cause heavy damage and

Below the towers, clear mines, kill enemies and ,and keep Glenna safe.

Capture the first tower. If people on the ground are going up to capture the tower, clear the area outside the little courtyard first, so the escort and Glenna are safe.

Capturing Towers

To capture the tower, the number of players needs to be greater than the number of White Mantle enemies. (Player and enemy minions don't count.)

If taking a portal to the towers, when the tower joins the squad on the ground, all non-escort players stack on the

For solo-capturing, keep enemies out of the capture ring. For group-capturing, leave 1 enemy alive. For everyone-capturing, Stealth, portal up, and don't attack. While waiting for the next ley line, use the turret: if solo or portal-maker, on enemies in the tower, or if tower group, on enemies on the ground.

The red ring turns blue when you're capturing the tower.

When the tower is captured:

Make sure that the ring disappears before taking the portal back!

Going to Tower 1

After exiting the cave and gliding to the ,use it. You'll bounce into the first tower's capture circle, filled with enemies.

After the first tower is captured, start spawning.

Killing Warg Bloodhounds ("Wargs")

Use only soft CC to slow 。 Kill them before they reach Glenna, and keep Glenna away from them! If you're the back-warg-killer, after you kill 4 back wargs, go to the squad.

spawn near the beginning ("back warg", near the tent) and end of the path ("front warg", in the large courtyard)。 When they reach Glenna, they attack, killing her in 1–2 hits.

Players on the ground kill front wargs, while back-warg-killer kills back wargs. Don't use hard CC (Stun, etc.), or they speed up! Only use SOFT CC (Chill, etc.)! Immobilize also stops hard-CCed wargs!

Use soft CC (冰冻 残废 定身 迟缓 ) to slow the movement. If a warg is going to reach Glenna before it dies, call for help.

Don't use hard CC (群体控制 ,etc.) on wargs! When hard CC is used, they speed up!

Don't let Warg Bloodhounds attack Glenna! If she dies, you wipe! Even if you're not the escort, if wargs are close, use Come Here! to move Glenna! Avoid mines, enemies, and AoEs!

(back-warg-killer) If the back warg won't die before it's close to Glenna, or you die to a mine, call for help.

(non-back-warg-killer) If the back-warg-killer calls for help, 1–2 DPS go kill the back-warg. If the back-warg-killer is dead, continue killing back wargs.

After killing 4 back wargs, the back-warg-killer goes to the squad.

After capturing towers, players with the Mastery can use the to attack enemies on the ground or in the same captured towers.

Continue up the path until you reach the next white AoE. Kill enemies, clear mines, and use Glenna to create ley lines. Keep Glenna safe. Capture the remaining towers.

Going to Towers 2 to 5

After the first tower, use ley lines to reach the other towers.

Glenna unlocks 2 ley lines for each white AoE. One ley line starts from the previous tower, while the other ley line starts from the ground.

To glide to the next tower, jump onto the raised part of the tower, and then glide into the ley line.

To glide into the ground ley lines:

After capturing the 5 towers, despawn and stop spawning和 spawns in the courtyard.

Mini-Boss: McLeod the Silent

is a mini-boss. He splits into 2 clones every 25%, spawning a after he reappears.

Before fighting, move Glenna to the top of the stairs.

If any players are dead, the back-warg-killer revives dead players while the squad kills 。 Dead players cannot respawn until after the encounter finishes.

Before fighting the mini-boss, put Glenna at the top of the stairs. The back-warg-killer revives the dead, while everyone else stacks at the gate.

Stack in front of the gate, to keep from teleporting near Glenna.

When teleports away or splits into his clones, let him run to you.

Move away from 。 At 75%/50%/25%, kill clone with the same color as yours. Cleave

Don't stand in front of the mini-boss; stay at the gate, even when he splits/teleports. During split, kill the clone with the same-color icon; after split, cleave the Bloodhound Warg.

After killing ,use to move Glenna to the white AoE. Stay away from the bomb's AoE!
