Near Joyless Falls, use the nearby device located along the frozen river, to open a hole in the frozen waterfall to access this chest. Refer to second screenshot for device location.

Inside a small ice cave on the upper level of Sorrow's Eclipse Sanctuary; the opening is marked by a door frame. Refer to second screenshot for location of the frame in comparison to the Sorrow's Eclipse Vista.

Talk to Thoorne in Gooloopa Deeps to get the Quaggan's Key buff. Thoorne is located directly above Thoorne's house, then swim down and use the key to enter Thoorne's house. Refer to second image for location of the house.

Climb the hills directly northeast of the Whorl Lagoon to find a series of stepping stones jutting out of the hillside, leading to a wooden rope bridge. Proceed across the bridge and up another small set of stepping stones to arrive at an icy clearing filled with Icebrood Wolves. This small area contains the Icebound Chest needed.

Start at the hill with a small stream on it northwest of Whorl Lagoon, accessed by a shallow incline near the entrance to the hotsprings. Facing the small waterfall leading into the shallow stream, look to your right to find a steep, grassy incline. The top of this incline is marked by a tree, and to the northeast you should see a series of stepping stones jutting out of the mountain. Jump across these stones, passing another stream, proceeding over a precarious wooden rope bridge, and jumping up another series of stepping stones, you will come to an area with a small body of water, a dead Quaggan, and a Thermal Tube. Activate the Thermal Tube to be launched across to the upper southern side of the hotsprings, to find a chest next to the tallest but thinnest tree in this small area. Refer to the second image for the path taken through the stepping stones jumping puzzle, which also shows the approximate location of the chest, on the player's map marker.

Head south from Sorrow's Eclipse Sanctuary. On a ledge above the east exit from Wayward Cave, you'll see three bouncing mushrooms. The centre mushroom will take you to the chest, as indicated in the second image.

In the cave behind Lockflow Ice Fall , you can use the nearby device on one of the floating islands to open a hole in the frozen waterfall and reach the cave (you will need Cold Resistance). Refer to second screenshot for location of the device.

In the water at the bottom of Dive Master: Cold Feet (you will need Cold Resistance)

At the end of the ledge which lies the most southeast of The Bitter Cold (you will need Cold Resistance)

In the western area of The Bitter Cold, on an ice bridge (you will need Cold Resistance)
