Helpful Hero is a Portal Panic achievement in which you must collect lost belongings found within Mists Rifts and return them to their owners.

Complete . This event occurs every 10 minutes at seven locations, starting at xx:x0, according to the chart below. Enter the Mists Rift through the portal. Alternatively use a Branded Riftstone to enter a Mists Rift. If the rift item received is from the previous interval then using a riftstone within the same interval should get you into an instance with the reward you are looking for. Defeat the Champion enemy within the rift during . DO NOT exit through the exit portal by the Waypoint! Check the minimap for a marked exit portal on one of the floating islands on the edges of the map. A bridge will spawn to this marker after the boss is killed (). This will automatically grant you a rift item according to the timer table below. Upon spawning back in Tyria, speak to the NPC standing nearby to reunite them with their lost item. If you have unlocked a belonging but forgot to turn it in with its owner after the event finished, you can still turn it in afterwards without having to repeat the event at the right time by talking to the NPC directly.
