Eligibility is tracked by . This achievement can be done in the instanced part of this story step, after defending Canach in the Forge. Use your Skimmer's Aetherlocation to identify the location of the Inquest spanner for the "DIY Enthusiast" achievement. This is marked with a magnifiying glass when you get close enough - dismount and pick it up. The spanner cannot be found until after you interact with the console on the second level. Note: Using your engineering skills or the Inquest Authorization Key will not earn DIY Enthusiast achievement. The spanner's location appears to be somewhat randomized within the Forge. Some possible locations where it has been found: next to the lamp alcove in the Steward Trial Chamber, in the northeastern section of The Forge in the narrower southern section of Gardesano's Atelier, on the floor near the conveyor belt When interacting with the console, use the option "Try to bypass the control panel with the tool" to get the achievement. Other options such as "Use your engineering skills (...)" do not award the achievement, even if you have the tool in hand.
