thumb|240px|Path to Scarlet's Secret Lair thumb|240px|Alternate Route Scarlet's Secret Lair After reading the letter from Steward Gixx about Scarlet, her secret lair instance will become accessible in the caves beneath the Durmand Priory behind an illusory wall and an interactable vault door. In the lair there are scattered notes and plans and a console locked with an access code. Go through her 5 journal segments around the room and find an incorrectly capitalised letter from each one to reveal the code O-M-A-D-D. Regrouping After exiting and reading the next letter from Marjory, travel to Sanctum Harbor in Lion's Arch. Listen to conversations on the beach between Rox, Rytlock Brimstone, Braham, Logan Thackery, Taimi, Marjory and Kasmeer. Aether Escape After reading the next letter from Captain Ellen Kiel, go to Fort Marriner for the next instance. Dispatch the attacking Aetherblades though only the Elite Aetherblade Vanguard needs to be defeated for all the foes to leave. Speak with Captain Kiel and Sheriff Siriam about Scarlet and her probes. Fancy Letter for Investigative Study 5 can be found under the flag on the roof of the prison tower next to Sheriff Siriam. The Edge of the Mists The next step is to enter the Edge of the Mists, either via the World vs World screen or the marked portal in Lion's Arch to talk to Taimi and Braham who are just inside. While the conversation is long it is the only mandatory thing here. Find Scruffy's Golem Parts for Raiders of the Lost Parts and Raiders of the Lost Parts II. A Study in Scarlet After reading the last letter from Marjory, head to The Dead End Bar in Divinity's Reach for the last instance. After listening to Marjory, Kasmeer, Rox and Vorpp, interact with all 3 holo-recordings to progress and then inspect all 10 pieces of evidence, selecting the correct responses until the objective is completed. Following that is Marjory's closing monologue which finishes the mission.
