The Kinfall Fractal was released with the third and final content update for Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds, Absolution. The challenge mode was released on June 24, 2025. The Legendary Whispering Shadow uses the similar skills and mechanics as the Whisper of Jormag found in the Whisper of Jormag raid encounter.
