Investigate the lab for signs of Joko's activity. Search the Inquest lab for information regarding Joko's invasion force. Defeat the Inquest security golems. Check the console for clues. Take the elevator to the observation platform. Jump off the observation platform.

When you enter the instance, there is an Inquest console to the left; interact with it to reset the password. This first area is guarded by drones similar to those in the previous story step. Standing around the orange circle surrounding a drone will cause it to attack. Each Gate Controller will open one of the gates. Going from controller to controller and through each gate is the straightforward path. There are consoles with fluff text and Inquest on the sides. After the first few gates, there are consoles to the left and right guarded by Inquest; the left has an Inquest Console that allows you to disable the guard drones (if you reset the password at the start), which will complete the Drones Disabled achievement. Take the elevator up. Before the first door there are 2 consoles; on the left is a dead charr, on the right there is a control for the Inquest-Specimen Liberator achievement – make sure to hit all the consoles in this room for the achievement, and select the option to "Release control specimen" when available. After the Mysterious Charr breaks through the glass, defeat all the golems to spawn the elevator controller. Listen to the message on the console. When finished,you can take the elevator up. Jump off the platform circled in green to finish the instance. You'll land safely even if you don't have access to a glider. When you complete the instance, you are immediately moved into the next story instance, A Kindness Repaid.
