If you were at the previous event in Tribunes' Trench, you can take Kasmeer's Portal to get to the starting location of this event in The Wardowns. The cubs are fairly self-sufficient, but the best way to keep the enemies away from them (for the Under Her Wing achievement) is to hold aggro at a spot slightly away from Kasmeer. The cubs' health bars do not appear on the event sidebar in the UI, so be careful. When she summons the enemies, they will appear in a stack somewhat ahead on the trail. At this time, you can drop lots of AoE on them to damage them en masse. You can also use skills which push or pull enemies to move them away from the cubs. Be wary of dangerous enemies like the Branded Hydra or the Mordrem, who can harm the cubs via AoE even if you have aggro.
