Head to Rytlock's office to check in. Listen to the conversation. Speak with Rytlock. Speak with the young norn. Meet up with Rox and defend North Nolan Hatchery from the Molten Alliance. Head to North Nolan Hatchery. Confer with Rox. Fight through the invaders. Destroy the sonic emitters. Secure the hatchery area. Head to the upper training ground. Hold out against the invaders. (Defeat the enemy leader.) Marat Debrief with Rox.

Meet with Rytlock at the Black Citadel Imperator's Core to discuss the Molten Alliance threat. Read the mail titled "Call to Arms". Teleport to Imperator's Waypoint. Head east and enter The Command Core instance. Go up by head east first then turn around. Head west and trigger the cutscene. Watching the cutscene awards the achievement Rox: Critical Mission. Speak to Rox and Rytlock Brimstone: Rox: Select the first option 3 times and the dialogue ends. Rytlock Brimstone: Select the first option twice and the dialogue ends. Interacting with the documents in the instance, Letter from Knut, Field Report from the Ash Legion, and Intel from Crecia, awards the first three objectives of Investigative Study 1. Meet With Rytlock in his office. Leave the instance. Head south and enter the Blood Tribune Quarters instance. Go west towards Braham and trigger the cutscene. Watching the cutscene awards the achievement Braham: Help from the Legions. Speak to Braham and Rytlock Brimstone: Braham: Select the first option 4 times and the dialogue ends. Rytlock Brimstone: The dialogue varies by the character’s race. Select the first option till the story objective updates, then you can close the dialogue. Meet up with Rox and defend North Nolan Hatchery from the Molten Alliance. Teleport to Nolan Waypoint and head west. Enter the North Nolan Hatchery instance. Go north towards Rox. Defeat the foes when the gate opens. Head west, follow the path and defeat the foes along. At North Nolan Hatchery, clear the foes and Dredge Sonic Emitter. Two flame portals will open once you destroy the first sonic emitter at the entrance to the area. Two veteran mobs will port in after each emitter is destroyed, so destroy them one at a time and kill the veteran mobs before destroying the next emitter. After the last emitter is destroyed, the previous flame portals disappear and two new ones appear at each end of the hatchery grounds. The devourers now join the fight on your side. They don't do a lot of damage and it's not worth reviving them, when they die. The first three waves of 2-3 mobs will appear, alternating between the two flame portals. From then on, mobs will spawn from both portals simultaneously. Follow Rox and turn right up the path. Go north to the end of the way. Two flame portals appear behind you and two at the back of the area. Another three waves of mobs spawn. The most damage is done by the Molten Ignitor. After they're down, the four flame portals combine into one large portal, spawning Marat and two minor mobs. Marat's abilities are Projectile's Bounce and Lingering AoE. Kill the minor mobs first, while avoiding the AoE from Marat. He telegraphs pretty clearly where the damage will go. Defeating Marat awards the achievement Rox - The Hatchery. Listen to the ending dialogue with Rox to complete the story step. If the prerequisite is met, awards Visions of the Past: You Made a Friend.
