The missions objectives are fairly straightforward at the beginning pre-event. Use water buckets to extinguish fires, activate mortar seed turrets (interact with them) , and kill destroyers attacking. Completing the goals will grant one stack of for each goal, increasing all attributes. Once the mission locks , any challenges start including the timer and you need to follow the NPCs to seek out the Destroyer boss. About half way into the mission after the expedition event ends, the Destroyer of the Crystal Fields appears. Break the defiance bar to increase damage (via Exposed) and also to stop its attacks. It will occasionally create a wave that knocks players back but that can be either ignored with stability or jumped over. At around 80% health it disappears and players must destroy fissures. Destroyer bursters around each fissure do heavy damage on death so it is advised to focus the fissure only. After all three fissures are destroyed the boss will return and at 40% it will disappear again and form the 3 fissures. Destroy the three fissures and continue on to the final phase of the fight (which is just the occasional wave that knocks players back). Using a Portable United Legions Waystation greatly improves the ability to break the defiance bar. "CC consumables" usable in openworld such as Termite Shovels and Rocks also help.
