The fight with Drakkar is divided into several phases based on Drakkar's health. In each phase, Drakkar's skills evolve, gaining additional effects, occuring faster, or doing more damage. Drakkar's skills are all scripted to occur in a specific order. Phase 1 - 100-80% health The first phase occurs in the first chamber, and is the slowest phase due to the lack of a burn portion. Drakkar will emerge from the ice, fearing players (dodgeable) when doing so. Drakkar will roar and throw icy rocks around the room. Drakkar will then do stomp attacks, which can be jumped over. Drakkar will make a large cone-shaped AoE breath attack that and freeze the ground. Drakkar will roar then jump to perform a large AoE that covers the entire chamber, pulsing damage and freezing progressively the whole room apart the area under it. Drakkar will then submerge itself into the ice, its shadow will show where it will pop up next. Phase 1 intermission When hitting 80% health, Drakkar will become invulnerable and submerge into the ice. Jhavi will have scripted lines, and Fallen, Aberrant, and Svanir mobs will spawn (in waves of that order). When the last wave is killed, three elites will appear (one of each faction). Upon killing the elites, Jhavi will finish channeling her skill and open up another tunnel - make your way down the new tunnel to continue the fight. Phase 2 - 80-60% health This phase begins upon entering the second chamber. Similar to the first phase, but Drakkar will gain two additional skills to his cycle: Drakkar will emerge from the ice, fearing players (dodgeable) when doing so. Drakkar will roar, pushing players away from him, while spitting icy rocks around the room. Drakkar will lower his head, gain a red hue, and summon ice tornadoes rotating counter-clockwise that deal frequent damage throughout the chamber. There will also be a green AoE that appears where giant ice orbs will fall; being on the green circles will provide a effect that increases player damage. During this skill, Drakkar takes more damage, making it the best point to burn Drakkar's health down. Drakkar will then submerge itself into the ice, its shadow will show where it will pop up next. In addition, there is a barrier of icy flames around the arena, touching this will cause damage over time. Phase 2 intermission (60%) Upon reaching 60% health, regardless of position ins his skill cycle, Drakkar will go invulnerable and submerge into the ice. The room will gain a heavy red hue and a blizzard will occur to obscure vision, and Drakkar will emerge from the ground to attack Jhavi who will create a raven barrier around herself. Players must attack Drakkar's claws with crowd control attacks (the essence manipulation skills are best to use here, stacks obtainable during the pre-event); the only essence manipulation skill available in this phase is . After breaking the defiance bar, veteran and elite Fallen mobs will slowly spawn and attack Jhavi's barrier. During this time, the red-colored raven gate can be activated; at least one player must have Raven's Flight to activate the gate. Beyond the gate is a Champion Fallen Pineshade which must be killed before Jhavi's barrier is destroyed to continue the fight. Entering a gate applies the effect for 8 minutes. Entering Jhavi's barrier will grant players with Raven's Warmth. Losing this barrier will result in the player taking damage from the blizzard in the room. Drakkar also has two attacks during this phase: Drakkar will appear out of the ground, sending a shockwave from its emergence, and launching players into the air if they were at where Drakkar emerged. Drakkar will appear from the walls, chomping at anyone nearby. Furthermore, a Corrupted Seer can spawn, which can do heavy AoE on top of Jhavi and the players. Phase 3 - 60-40% health Similar to phase two, but Drakkar's skills evolve. In order: Fear from Drakkar's emergence lasts longer. More icy rocks spawn upon his roar. Drakkar's stomps occur a little faster. The cone attack launches players further. The charge up for covering the room in is shorter. The pushback from the roar is longer. Drakkar's hue turns to green, the number of tornadoes increase, and the number of green circles double (2). In addition, Fallen enemies will begin appearing to harass the players. Phase 3 intermission (40%) Similar to the previous intermission, Drakkar will submerge himself at 40% health, and re-emerge from the floor to attack Jhavi. Instead of the room coloring red, it instead colors green, and the essence usable by players is . Similarly, instead of Fallen foes, Aberrant foes spawn, and beyond the gate players must kill a Champion Boneskinner. Phase 4 - 40-20% health Similar to phase three, Drakkar's skills evolve further in the same manner. The main difference is the last skill, where Drakkar's hue turns blue, and the green circles doubles once more to 4. This time, Fallen and Aberrant foes will appear. Phase 4 intermission (20%) Similar to the previous intermissions, Drakkar will submerge himself at 20% health, and re-emerge from the floor to attack Jhavi. Players must again use crowd control on his claws ( is the only essence manipulation available), then move through a raven gate to kill a Champion Svanir Tyrant before mobs destroy Jhavi's barrier. While the Champion Svanir Tyrant is alive, Svanir enemies will appear in the blue-tainted area. Phase 5 - 20-0% health Drakkar's skills evolve once more, becoming faster, stronger, and longer lasting with more AoE effects, and all three of Aberrant, Fallen, and Svanir enemies will spawn across the chamber to harass players.
