To forage and taste test for edible mushrooms — collect the brown edible mushrooms marked with the icon by getting close and clicking the interaction key (default ). They can be found in various spots inside the event bounds. The icon appears only when approaching or standing close to the mushrooms. Before picking them, it is advised to walk around and take a closer look at them. Poisonous mushrooms should not be touched. The collected mushrooms will respawn in the same or a close spot where they were initially gathered. There are 4 types of mushrooms: Blueish purple — when interacted with, the effect will appear on the player's HUD bar, and it will last for 30 seconds. This can be cured by interacting with Water Buckets. Brown with greenish vapor animation — when interacted with, the player receives condition which will last for 30 seconds. This can be cured by interacting with Water Buckets. Brown with beige bubble animation — the edible mushrooms. When interacted with, the effect will appear on the player's HUD bar. The effect stacks each time a player gathers edible mushrooms. These can be handed to the Fabled Brook for 1 contribution point. Shiny yellow — when interacted with, the effect will appear on the player's HUD bar. Once handed to Fabled Brook, the player receives 5 contribution points. Completes the Golden Mushroom Guru achievement. Only available once per event. All mushroom types can have more or less large white spots. The player can collect as many mushrooms as they want before handing them in. The number of collected mushrooms can be tracked via the effect displayed on the player's HUD bar or by the Edible Mushroom item in the inventory. Some mushrooms spawn an enemy fungus instead of being collected. This event repeats 5 minutes after the Mushroom King is defeated.
