Completing the 6th step–Ask Morgaan Bloodseeker in the Black Citadel about crafting a specialized glove automatically unlocks the achievement The Falling Star: Crafting List. Completing the 7th step completes the achievement The Falling Star: Meteor Wielder which awards the Meteor-Wielder's Glove Selection despite the achievement asking to acquire the gloves. Completing the 8th step completes the achievement The Falling Star: Seizing the Star and awards the Falling Star spear. You do not need to have the glove itself equipped for this step. Transmuting the skin onto any other glove also works.
