Meet at the gates of Bava Nisos. After a brief conversation through Comms Device with Anise and Isgarren, head to The Gilded Approach in Mistburned Barrens and enter the first story instance "Forced Entry: Bava Nisos Outskirts". Once the opening cutscene is finished, a dialogue open will appear, asking you to pick a side agree with Livia to use the power of the Scepter of Orr or side with the wizards who deem the artifact too dangerous. In the end, the choice is of little consequence — you will have to fight off a Mistburned ambush, during which Livia abandons the party in order to use the scepter on the gates to the city with the goal to open the pathway to the city. Dealing with the enemies quickly is necessary for an achievement. This is where you can earn an achievement: [[#Efficient Defender |Efficient Defender]]. After a brief dialogue, step into the portal to be transported to the next instance: "Forced Entry: Bava Nisos". Follow Livia into Bava Nisos. Once the opening cutscene is finished, move forward and aid Livia in battle against titanspawn, including a new type of enemy — Titanic Macrophage. After the battle is over, listen to the conversation between your allies as you move south to the abandoned, yet relatively recent White Mantle camp. Search the place in order to learn the fate of their small expediton and its three members: Judge, Ulrich, and Tatyanna. Only six items award progress during the investigation: Diary Page (x2), Drawing, Journals, Scrawled Note, and Scroll. Interaction with other items (Alchemical Scales, Barrel of Documents, Map of Janthir, and White Mantle Bow) is not required by the story mission, but is necessary for an achievement. After completing the investigation of the camp, move back to the entrance to the city and witness another argument between your allies. Once it's done, you can follow up with Livia to finish the instance. Optionally, you can talk with your allies to learn more. Speaking with all seven of your allies (Anise, Bengt Tovasson, Councillor Ludo, Isgarren, Livia, Poised Arrow, and Waiting Sorrow) is necessary for an achievement. [[New Krytan text says: "The Rise of -"]] Drawing object in the abandoned camp consists of several scattered pieces of paper. A closer investigation allows a player to notice a few readable highlights written in New Krytan language, as well as multiple scratch marks obscuring some of the text on each page. Among the notes there are three clearly visible pages speaking of "Bloodstone Invocation", "Nightfall" and "Wrath of the Titans". Two of the notes are partially unreadable due to the strange markings, with the only readable parts being: "White Mantle -" and "The rise of -". Further inspection reveals the missing words to be "conspiracy" and "Orr" respectively, making the full texts say "White Mantle Conspiracy" and "The rise of Orr". Similar notes were noticed around Echoes of Night's House, excluding the note about "The rise of Orr".
