Overview

Block Dragonhunter is a support build focused on blocking and mitigating damage for your group, while still providing key boons like 稳固. Compared to Firebrand, it offers less overall boon output but excels at keeping your party safe from burst damage and blockable attacks. The core mechanic is using Shieldofcourage as frequently as possible. Thanks to Tenacious Defense, every attack blocked by 圣盾 (applied by you) reduces its cooldown, letting you block more often.

How to Play

Pre-Engage

• Use Symbolofswiftness to grant 迅捷 to your group. Avoid using it on the might stack.

When "Pulls" Are Called

• Use Spearofjustice to pull enemies as directed by your commander.

Might Stacking

• Holystrike for blasting combo fields.
• Empower for might and healing.

Block Rotation

Your rotation depends on whether you are the primary or off-support. The goal is to maximize blocks and boon uptime:

• If primary support: Use Standyourground on call or when enemies are about to engage.
• On push: Use Shieldofjudgment to block incoming damage. Stay close to your commander and face the enemy.
• Reset Shieldofjudgment cooldown with Renewedfocus.
• Use Shieldofjudgment again as soon as it's available.
• Use Mace/Shield weapon skills and Advance to grant 圣盾 and recharge Shieldofcourage faster.
• Use Hallowedground as a filler for extra 稳固 when needed. Shieldofjudgment cannot block unblockable attacks (e.g., Wellofcorruption or attacks from Catalyst, Spellbreaker, or Reaper). These professions have skills that grant unblockable attacks. Your only answer to unblockable attacks is Renewedfocus. Use it carefully to survive or protect allies from dangerous unblockable skills.
