Overview
Power mirage offers good burst damage and has access to plentiful utility, including invulnerability, blocks and teleports.
This build revolves around Ambushes, Shatters and the trait 
沙丘遮隐, turning 
心灵粉碎 into yet another source of Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak for more Ambushes, which replace your next auto attack with a stronger attack, such as the laser 
分裂涌流 from the greatsword's Ambush skill.
As a downside, this build has very little access to boons and its damage is not great but not terrible either.

Weapon Variants
If you don't have access to dagger with Weaponmaster Training from Secrets of the Obscure, replace it with mainhand sword Mainhand sword.
- Mainhand sword Mainhand sword - replaces dagger for players without Secrets of the Obscure. It deals less damage but it has a helpful evade.
- Spear Spear - can replace greatsword for higher damage, more AoE damage and helpful condition removal, but it is melee only.

Heal skill
We default to 
幻光纹章 for more Phantasms, which in turn means more clones, more Shatters, and more Ambushes due to 
幻象斗篷. Other alternatives can be considered.
伪装绿洲 - simpler to use and access to Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak.
幻光盛宴 - in rare situations where you'd like to trade damage for extra healing or condition cleanse, use Ether Feast.
Utility skill
We default to:
幻影伏击 is a good source of damage with its extra Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak.
水晶沙尘 is a good source of damage with its extra Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak.
苦痛咒语 is extra damage with no cast time.
If you want or need to run other skills, here are some suggestions:
坚定咒语 - condition cleanse for yourself and nearby allies.
斥力穹窿 - projectile reflection.
专注咒语 - personal stunbreak and AoE stability.
传送入口 - utility for teleporting to previous places.
Elite skill
We default to 
谦逊纹章 as it provides excellent CC on a short cooldown. If required, it can be replaced by:
时间扭曲 - brief burst of 
急速 but it has a ridiculously long cooldown for what it does.

Equipment
If you are gearing this character from zero, start with exotic quality gear. Search the trading post for "Zhed" armor, "Uzoku" dagger, "Bonetti" sword, "Impaler" spear, and "Ebonblade" greatsword. Upgrade to ascended gear as you progress. See also: Guide:How to Gear a Character.

Usage
Mirage Cloak
幻象斗篷 is the profession mechanic of the mirage. Whenever you dodge or pick up a 
幻象之镜, you enter Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak for 0,75 seconds, dodging incoming attacks. You also gain access to Ambush skills for 1,5 seconds, which replace your first weapon skill. Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak does not have a cast time, allowing mirages to dodge at any time, such as when casting a skill, when reviving someone, but cannot be used while under the effects of hard crowd control or immobilization.
Damage
Most of your damage comes from Shatters and Ambushes. Whenever you have more than half of your endurance, dodge to enter Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak and fire off your Ambush skill. Additionally, you want to use 心灵粉碎 with three clones off cooldown, which due to 沙丘遮隐 will also give you more Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak. As a little bonus, gaining Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak reduces the cooldown of 心灵粉碎.
As a power build, you clones deal extremely low power damage, so they are merely Shatter fodder. Although 
无限视界 can look pretty with all your clones shooting lasers, clones deal extremely low power damage and this trait is not worth it.
Shattering also activates 
幻影痛苦, giving you a very nice damage buff; and 
游牧民的耐力, which gives 
活力 for more endurance for more Ambushes, and increases your damage due to this trait.
Greatsword
On greatsword you want to spam all skills for damage except 
幻象之波, which deals very little damage and should instead be saved for crowd control. A good rotation would be to cast 
幻影狂战 twice (or thrice if using 幻光纹章 before swapping to Dagger/Sword. Be careful with 
心灵穿刺, it will interrupt whatever you are doing to cast it, which can potentially interrupt important skills such as your heal skill.
Its Ambush skill is 分裂涌流, which deals decent damage and applies 
易伤.
Dagger/Sword
On dagger/sword you want to spam all your skills except 
幻象还击 which should be saved for blocking. A good rotation would be to cast 
幻影剑客 twice before swapping back to greatsword.
Its Ambush skill is 
幻影剃刀 which deals damage and inflicts conditions. The greatsword ambush deals slightly higher damage so don't spend all your energy on dagger.
Alternative weapons
Spear
Spear can replace greatsword for higher damage, more AoE damage and helpful condition removal, but it is melee only.
When using spear, try to always hit your target with the outer edge of 
间隙危机 to deal more damage, if you hit with both the outer and inner halves it will count as an outer edge hit, so it's easy to always deal empowered damage. Hitting with 间隙危机 gives you "Clarity", which empowers your next spear skill. You want to always cast 
幻影长矛 empowered by Clarity. 
虚拟反转 should be saved for an extra dodge or to cleanse conditions.
Its Ambush skill is 
碎裂之镜, which deals great damage and applies 易伤. It deals more damage than dagger or greatsword's Ambush skills.
Mainhand sword
If using mainhand sword instead of dagger, 
幻象跳跃 deals no damage and should only be used if you're missing a third clone before shattering. The sword's Ambush skill is 
幻象戳刺, which leaps you forward, deals damage, and 
晕眩s. The greatsword or spear ambush deals slightly higher damage so don't spend all your energy on sword.
Defense
- Never stop moving, get out of enemy attacks or dodge them.
- Clones and phantasms will tank some hits for you.
- 虚拟反转 is an extra dodge, heals and cleanses conditions.
- When using sword,
恍惚狂热 dodges incoming attacks for 1 second. Use this to avoid attacks instead of dodging. - 幻象还击 is a block plus evade.
- If you need condition cleanse, slot 坚定咒语.
失真 makes you immune to damage.
