Overview
Condition Renegade offers great sustained damage and decent burst. Although shortbow offers ranged damage, the build performs better in melee range. Like all revenant builds, switching legends is a key aspect to recover your energy and continue using skills. As a downside, this build lacks boon generation, although some energy can be sacrificed to

Weapon Variants
If you don't have access to land spear with Janthir Wilds, use mace+axe instead. Shortbow can be replaced with mace+axe for higher damage but in melee range.
- Mace Mace + Axe Axe - replaces spear for players without Janthir Wilds, or replaces shortbow for players who want more damage at the cost of ranged damage.

Equipment
Ascended gear and stat infusions are not required; you can use exotic gear with the same stats. This set uses gear that is very similar to Build:Renegade_-_Condi_DPS, making it excellent for general PVE
If you are gearing this character from zero, start with exotic quality gear. Search the trading post for "Viper's Abomination" weapons. Viper exotic armor is very expensive, so we recommend a budget alternative called Carrion (search the trading post for "Shiro" armor) until you can get Viper gear such as by farming Bladed armor or by acquiring ascended armor. Usage
Damage
Your damage is improved by Kalla's Fervor Kalla's Fervor, which you stack by gaining fury, striking a defiant enemy, striking an enemy's flank, or landing a critical hit. Against large enemies use 
壁垒轰炸 any time you have spare energy. When solo, use 英勇指挥 to generate 威能.
In long fights, you want to swap Legendary Stances often to regain energy. Generally speaking, you will swap off of 
传奇龙魂使姿态 after casting empowered 
刃爪之怒 twice, and you will swap off of 
传奇恶魔姿态 after consuming all your energy with 
拥抱黑暗 and weapon skills.
Legendary Renegade Stance
When channelling Kalla in 传奇龙魂使姿态, summon 
冰刃怒火 followed by 刃爪之怒 to deal damage. Always enhance 刃爪之怒 by casting any other Legendary Renegade skill first.
Regarding the other skills, 
断刃壁垒 is your heal skill, and 
暗刃勇气 is your stunbreak and crowd control skill. The elite skill 
断魂之峰 provides some healing when you summon another warband member, but it costs too much energy and should be used sparingly if at all.
Legendary Demon Stance
When channelling Mallyx in 传奇恶魔姿态, you want to activate 拥抱黑暗 and leave it on to pulse torment to nearby enemies. Using any skill that consumes energy makes the next pulse of Embrace the Darkness inflict more torment. The other Legendary Demon Stance skills should not be used unless really needed, as it is better to spend energy on Embrace the Darkness and weapon skills.
Spear
The spear playstyle revolves around 
深渊毁灭. Hitting targets with it empowers the next Abyssal Rage. Try to acquire 3 stacks of this buff before you weapon swap.
Spam 
深渊原力 and 
深渊霹雳 for damage and to reduce the recharge of 深渊毁灭. Save 
深渊突袭 for whenever you need an extra dodge.
Shortbow
With shortbow you want to use all skills except 
灼刃, which should be only be used if crowd control is needed.
Defense
吸收苦痛 grants 
抗性 and breaks stun.- 深渊突袭 is an extra dodge.
- If you need condition removal, consider using 净化引导. If you need a lot of condition removal, consider using 恢复绝望.
