Overview
Power Virtuoso is a relatively simple build with good burst damage. Virtuosos cannot summon clones. Instead, they stock Blades. This has the disadvantage of clones no longer tanking for you, but the advantage of Blades persisting after combat unlike clones which die after the fight.
Power virtuoso has great burst damage, but lacks boon generation compared to power chronomancer which shines in longer fights.

Weapon Variants
Spear Spear - Usage of land spear requires Lowland spear from Janthir Wilds.
- Greatsword Greatsword - replaces spear for players without Janthir Wilds, requires the trait
飞刃反弹 - Mainhand Sword Mainhand Sword - can replace dagger to trade damage for the strong defensive utility of
恍惚狂热 and boon removal of 
心灵钻刺. - Focus Focus - Can replace offhand sword for the very helpful pull of
凡尘帷幔, but you lose acces to the block of sword and its slightly higher damage.

Healing
We default to 
幻光纹章 which combines healing and damage by refreshing your phantasm skills. In rare situations, another option can be considered:
幻光盛宴 - sacrifices damage for its higher healing or condition cleansing.
Utility
We default to:
剑刃暴雨 provides good AoE damage. Shouldn't be replaced unless really needed.
苦痛咒语 provides instant cast damage. Can be replaced.
闪光传送 provides great mobility and stun break. Can be replaced.
If you want or need to run other skills, here are some suggestions:
坚定咒语 - condition cleanse for yourself and nearby allies.
斥力穹窿 - projectile reflection.
专注咒语 - personal stunbreak and AoE stability.
传送入口 - utility.

- Ascended gear is not required.
If you are gearing this character from zero, start with exotic quality gear. Search the trading post for "Zhed" armor, "Uzoku" dagger, "Bonetti" sword, "Impaler" spear, and "Ebonblade" greatsword. Upgrade to ascended gear as you progress. See also: Guide:How to Gear a Character.
- We default to Relic of Fireworks, but you can use

Usage
This build plays very similarly to core mesmer. Clones are replaced by Blades and persist after combat. Shatters are replaced by Bladesongs. Once you stock 5 Blades, use 
和谐咏刃.
Damage
The build is very simple to use.
- Prioritise your phantasm skills for damage and Blade generation. Use 幻光纹章 to cast
幻影长矛 twice, but only when empowered by Clarity Clarity from 
间隙危机. - On dagger, spam
利刃呼唤 and 
狂刃风暴 off cooldown. - Only use Bladesongs when you have 5 Blades stocked to get 2 back from
无尽铸造. This is extremely important because, unlike condition virtuoso, your Blade generation is quite slow.
Defense
- Never stop moving, get out of enemy attacks or dodge them.
- When using sword, 恍惚狂热 dodges incoming attacks for 1 second. Use this to avoid attacks instead of dodging.
幻象还击 is a block.- If you need condition cleanse, slot 坚定咒语.
虚拟反转 is an extra dodge and removes conditions.
