Power Willbender offers very high burst damage from melee range in a small AoE, high vulnerability application and has excellent mobility. It also provides high

Weapon Variants
Usage of Spear Spear requires the Janthir Wilds expansion.
- Longbow Longbow - provides high burst damage from range, but has slightly lower damage.
- Mainhand Sword Mainhand Sword + Focus Focus - default set for players without Spear.

Ascended gear is not required. This set uses gear similar to that of its raid variant; as such, it is excellent for general PVE.
DPS Equipment
This set uses equipment similar to typical Power Willbender raid builds and is a great choice for general PVE.
If you are gearing this character from zero, start with exotic quality gear. Search the trading post for "Devona" armor. Then search for the weapons you want to use: "Impaler" spear, "Ebonblade" greatsword, "Eir's Longbow" longbow, "Bonetti's Rapier" sword, "Adam" focus. Upgrade to ascended gear as you progress. Usage
Virtues
Willbender virtues lose their passive effects, but their activations are more useful.
It is extremely important to periodically use your virtues to maintain stacks of 
致命节奏, which is empowered by 
专制动量; and maintain 
美德激励. They also provide boons through 
神圣清算.
Damage
- Turn off "Melee Attack Assist" in Options. This allows you to use
愤怒回旋 inside an enemy's hitbox so that all projectiles hit your target. - Make sure to hit enemies with your symbols to gain stacks of
复仇符印 and inflict vulnerability from 
揭露符印. - Maintain uptime on 美德激励 with Virtues. Prioritise
急速正义 to gain boons from 神圣清算. - Use
正义之剑 at the start to apply vulnerability, and then periodically throughout the fight instead of autoattacks. - Make sure to use
光照符印 first to empower your other spear skills with Illuminated Illuminated.

This is a basic opener that can easily be performed with no
