幻光恢复 for a strong Heal and enormous Condition Removal

地磁护盾 for a Block, Daze, five target Pull and three seconds of Invulnerability.
"炽火燎原!" can be replaced when needed:
"风暴护体!" for group Stability, Superspeed and a Stun Break
"天崩地裂!" for group Protection, Aegis, Magnetic Aura. It also Immobilises nearby enemies.
元素雕文 can be replaced when needed:
飓风形态 for an extremely strong but slow Defiance Break with added mobility
"五行归元!" for Downstate prevention for you and nearby allies.
和谐传导 for Stability when Overloading at a cost of damage.
清澈奇点 for group Alacrity at a cost of lower personal damage. For more information on required changes, refer to the Gameplay Guide.
Dagger or Scepter can be taken instead of main hand Pistol if you do not have access to Secrets of the Obscure (SotO).
- Dagger provides decent damage and, generally speaking, lower complexity but can prove tricky due to forced movement from
大地突刺 and
炽焰疾步. - Scepter provides great damage and maintains solid Ranged damage. It's a very good alternative.

悲伤古物 turns your elite skill into a powerful panic button.
Secrets of the Obscure Relics:
碎层古物 inflicts Torment and Burning when an enemy is inflicted with Bleeding at six or more stacks of Bleeding.
术士古物 inflicts Vulnerability when you apply Cripple, Chilled or Immobilize.
寻路者古物 provides increased Movement Speed and Superspeed when entering combat.
巫师塔古物 grants your elite skill an additional Pull and Reflect.
午夜国王古物 to share Fury and Might frequently with nearby allies.
Core Game Relics:
流水古物 grants Condition Removal when you use your Heal Skill.
巫妖古物 for passive damage through a Jagged Horror minion that inflicts Bleeding.
骑兵古物 grants you Aegis, Quickness, Swiftness, Resistance and Might when you hit an enemy with your mount engage skill. (Hint: the Skyscale engage skill will leave a pulsing field that will give boons on every strike!).
Rotation & Extras
Attunements can be swapped while casting skills. Use this to save time and perform the rotation faster. Keep in mind that swapping Attunements will interrupt Overloads.
Key Concepts
Tempest gains access to Overloads, which are powerful channelled skills you gain access to after four seconds spent in an Attunement. Using an Overload puts the corresponding Attunement on a 20 second Cooldown.
All of your Attunements have their own purpose.
火焰协调 serves as a damage Attunement through Burning but also boon sharing with
热力同步.
流水协调 has some Bleeding but mainly provides Healing and Condition Removal.
空气协调 provides us with Defiance Break and Recharge reduction with
晕眩施放.
大地协调 has plenty of Bleeding, as well as Blind and boon extension with
砂石狂啸.
超验风暴 boosts your damage after using an Overload and also reduces the amount of time spent in an Attunement before the Overload becomes available.
Elemental Bullets are what makes this build unique. Here's what you need to know:
- Pistol skills, other than Auto Attacks, spawn Elemental Bullets of their respective Attunement.
- They are consumed when using Pistol skills, giving them additional effects, either offensive or defensive.
These are the skills that we want to use Elemental Bullets for:
狂怒弹射: +5% Condition Damage.
冰冻齐射: Five stacks of Bleeding and an Ice Field
晕眩施放: -33% Recharge on the next Pistol skill; used to reduce the Cooldown of
冰冻齐射.
碎裂岩石: Three stacks of an effect dealing one stack Bleeding for five seconds base when striking an enemy.
Dealing Damage
Use your Overloads in
火焰协调 and
大地协调.
For single target damage, use your Pistol/Warhorn set. Remember to (S)pend your Elemental Bullets on the right skills and (G)enerate them with others. Here are some guidelines for what skills to use in each Attunement:
灼烧齐射 (G),
狂怒弹射 (S) and
荒火哀嚎 in
火焰协调.
空中敏捷 (G),
晕眩施放 (S) and
闪电宝珠 in
空气协调.
严寒阵雪 (G) and
冰冻齐射 (S) in
流水协调.
巨石爆破 (G),
碎裂岩石 (S) and
沙尘风暴 in
大地协调.
冰冻齐射 and
荒火哀嚎 create large AoEs. Be careful how you place them to maximise their effects.
Cast the following skills off Cooldown:
When you need to tag mulitple mobs, you should use your Scepter/Warhorn set. Here are some tips:
- Use
烈焰打击,
岩石碎片 and
岩石屏障 →
投掷岩石 for ranged single target tags. - Use
巨龙之牙,
浴火凤凰,
火焰纹章 and
魔尘沙暴 for AoE ranged group tagging.
Use
"炽火燎原!" and
热力同步 to maintain Might and Fury.
"炽火燎原!" is also useful for tagging nearby enemies.
Use
元素雕文 in
火焰协调 before you get into combat and use
烈焰轰炸 off Cooldown
风暴雕文 should be used in
火焰协调 unless you need the Blind from
大地协调.
Defense
Tempest generally has pretty poor passive survivability due to the combination of lowest Health and Armor pool, as well as a lack of passive traits to make up for it.
Your Overloads are Stun Breaks, grant you Protection and their corresponding aura thanks to
坚固传导 and
动荡传导.
Keep casting and Heal up naturally from
再生纹章. The more you cast, the more you Heal.
Cast
元素雕文 in
流水协调 for a large Heal and Condition Cleanse with
冲击水流.
大地协调 has plenty of defensive skills:
沙尘风暴 is a source of pulsing Blindness
大地过载 grants you Stability, Protection and Magnetic Aura. It also Immobilizes and Cripples nearby enemies.
Use
潮汐激荡 and
气流漩涡 to control packs of enemies.

Tornado Notes
飓风形态 turns you into, you guessed it, a tornado, which can Launch enemies within the skill's Radius every three seconds. It pulses a maximum of five times.
Here's what you need to know:
残骸飓风 throws rocks at enemies, dealing Knockback. Switch to this skill instantly upon entering the transformation. Make sure to stand in the enemy's hitbox to ensure
残骸飓风 projectile hits
尘埃冲锋 makes you charge towards the direction you're facing, Launching enemies hit by you. Use this skill off Cooldown.- Try to avoid hitting trash mobs with the tornado as to not send them flying. No one likes to chase trash.
