Key Concepts
As you might have guessed Fearmancer relies on Fear to get kills. Otherwise it is a slow and tanky fighter like you'd expect from any condition Necromancer. The newest addition of
鲜血输送 gave it some really good sustain.
This is a jack-of-all trade putting on good pressure in teamfights while being able to heal and peel for its team. It can also duel and at least survive a lot of matchups if not win.
Damage
Fearmancer kill potential is a lot centered around chaining Fear and as such triggering relic of agony. Let's take a look at your key abilities and see how to use them.
夺魂印记 aoe fear with really high range, really good to use first in a chain of fears if you're in range for your other abilities.
末日哀嚎 longer range than you would expect but recquires you to face the target. Unblockable and also really good to start a chain.
鬼灵圆环 longe range and aoe but a bit awkward to use on multiple targets. Instead use it as a followup on your other fears.
厄运降临 by far your longest duration fear. Better used as a followup because of the very obvious animation and cast time. Only available inside of
死亡之幕.
恐惧波纹 only available in
巫妖形态. Always good to press but is a really slow projectile to prioritize it in melee range.
Luckily you're not out of options outside of those Fears.
死亡之幕 offers very good damage options under the form of aoe skill
污染枷锁, single target boon corrupt and potential teleport
暗路突袭 and lastly the autoattack
生命爆弹 which triggers
德姆火焰.
The rest of your weapon skills can be used in almost any order for damage and life force generation. Just note that
恶毒爆冲 is a stun and can also be used to start chain fearing someone.
Defense
Staff is your main source of active sustain. While kiting you will be wanting to actively hit both yourself and your opponent with each skill.
鲜血印记 is best used off cd.
Blast
凛冬印记 with
腐烂印记 into power damage dealers such as Willbender or Holosmith but hold
腐烂印记 if enemy team is condi heavy.
While in
死亡之幕 you take 50% less damage from both condition and power damage. If kiting while in shroud make sure to use
生命转移 for solid healing and life force generation. You can also use
污染枷锁 to try and get the Immobilize off.
You also have access to decent mobility
迅捷蝗群 gives you a nice uptime of Swiftness.
召唤血肉地虫 and
鬼灵影步 both offer a teleport back and a stunbreak.
Lastly
症状吞噬 will cleanse all of your conditions and provide a massive self heal based on how many got cleansed.
