恶意纹章 can be used to trigger more frequently
回复护盾, which results in extra applications of Dark Aura and Barrier at the cost of some Resistance uptime and a Dark Combo Field from
阴暗法池.
致盲药粉 can be replaced with
暗影庇护 if you do not feel the need to have a Stun Break in your build. The latter is overall more Heal, more Stealth applications and another Dark Combo Field, also leading to more Condition Removal.
暗影庇护 also massively helps getting your own Downs back up.
吞噬暗影 in the Spectre Trait Line for more Healing and Barrier if you prefer using
虹吸 only on enemies for the Stability removal and the extra Initiative gain, rather than using it on allies.
超级流水符文 can be used if you want to focus more on Boon Duration than Healing Power.
Rotation & Extras
Key Concepts
Support Specter is a Secondary Support relying mostly on Dark Aura and
卡拉科萨古物 with Blast Finishers in order to keep the squad safe with Heals and Condition Removal.
Moreover, it also massively grants Barrier, which became rarer since the latest patches. It allows the squad to take more hits as Barrier can cover up to an additional 25% of your health points in WvW.
As a Secondary Support, Support Specter will also be giving boons to its subgroup. We will be looking to massively grant Protection, Stability, Vigor and Resistance which are extremely powerful boons to have both offensively and defensively. Additionally, we will also be giving the usual Secondary Support boons such as Might and Fury to increase our squad Damage output.
You can
虹吸 an ally before the fight starts to designate them as your Shrouded Ally. The Shrouded Ally will receive the beneficial effects of Shadow Shroud skills, even while away from the squad. The Shrouded Ally can be up to 1200 Range away before the tether breaks, and boons from
暗影脚步 will be granted to the Shrouded Ally even if he isn't in the 360 Radius of the trait.
Last but not least, Support Spectre gives us access to Wells skills, which will exclusively be Dark Combo Field that will heavily interest us coupled to the Shadow Arts Trait Line.
Keybinding
It is recommanded to set keybinds for Set Personal Target and Take Personal Target. This allows you to quickly target an important ally for skills like
虹吸,
无尽黑夜 or Scepter Auto Attacks. You ideally want to set this personal target on a Damage dealer of your subgroup, or your Commander.
Boons and Supporting Allies
As a Secondary Support, Support Spectre has the unique ability to provide a wide range of important boons while doing its intended supporting job. It will allow our subgroup and globally squad to have higher uptimes of the highly prized boons such as Stability and Resistance.
It is also your duty to grant the boons your Damage dealers need in order to function properly. Low uptimes in Might and Fury will make the squad Power and Critical Chance drastically drop, so it is as important to massively reapply these boons.
Main Boons
Stability
- Our 2 main sources of Stability will be
思维冲击 and
恩惠法池. We will be looking to use these skills carefully in order to fill our Stability uptime for when the boon is about to run out. By spacing them properly, we can ensure providing Stability stacks every 15 seconds to our subgroup. Keep in mind the AoE of
思维冲击 will occur around yourself, not your Shrouded Ally.
虹吸 will also be granting us a small source of Stability if you happen to hit an enemy with it, as it will remove in priority their own Stability and grant a part of it to our allies thanks to
慷慨无私.
Resistance
薄暮穿越 will be responsible for our entire Resistance application. Every Well will be granting it on their impact location, so we will be aiming to space their usage on the different important timings to ensure our subgroup to have this powerful boon on key clashes.
Protection
暗影削弱 is our main source of Protection. As it will be our principal way to spend Initiative to support our squad, we will naturally be reapplicating Protection for long durations.- Some additional sources from
虹吸 and
黎明之息 will help us raise the Protection uptimes of the squad to even higher point to ensure almost constant Damage reduction.
Vigor
虹吸 will be our main source of Vigor. As one of the most powerful skill of our kit, we will really be aiming to cast it almost off Cooldown while making sure we do proper use of it.
恩惠法池 will also help us granting Vigor on its fourth pulse.
Offensive Boons
Might
虹吸 and
恩惠法池 will be granting long durations of Might. Try using them before an important clash when the Damage dealers will need as much Power as possible.
鬼影射击 can also grant lower amounts of Might if you are waiting for another skill in your Shadow Shroud and have nothing to do but Auto Attack.
Fury
虹吸 and
恩惠法池 will once again be responsible for another boon generation : these skills should have really high priority in your rotation.
Shadow Shroud
While in combat, you can generate Shadow Force by using Shadowsteps near allies, hitting enemies with
虹吸 or spending Initiative.
You can also precast Shadow Force before fights on any neutral or hostile NPC nearby by getting in combat and using
慎重射击 repeatedly.
Specter has plenty of sustained and burst Healing both in and out of Shadow Shroud, our main source being
卡拉科萨古物 through Blast Finishers.
Additionally, we will be looking to output as much Barrier as possible using Scepter, a privilege that not many Secondary Supports have.
Shadow Arts Trait Line provides us an unique synergy with Dark Aura, allowing us to output extra Healing and ensure proper Condition Removal for the squad thanks to
暗影救星 and
暗影庇护.
Supporting Allies
Our primary source of Healing will be
卡拉科萨古物 and Dark Auras. We will be taking advantage of Blast Finishers to use it in our Dark Combo Fields to trigger
卡拉科萨古物 and grant Dark Aura to allies, therefore triggering all our traits from Shadow Arts Trait Line
Our main Blast Finisher will be
暗影削弱, which we will be almost exclusively using our Initiative for. Thanks to its cheap cost and no Cooldown, we can massively repeat the process explained above to maximize our Healing and Condition Removal to get as many Dark Auras and Combo Field Blast as possible.
进入暗影帷幕 will provide us 2 additional Blast Finishers with
暗影抓攫 and
思维冲击.
By the same process, we will get more Condition Removal for the squad, as
暗影抓攫 and
沉默法池 additionally Remove Conditions while we will use them to achieve Combo Field Blasts in our rotation.
Barrier will also be covered as
暗影削弱 grants a consequent amount by default. Note that
慎重射击 →
无尽黑夜 is the best way to provide Barrier but completely nullify the synergies shown above. We will only want to use
无尽黑夜 if we want to precast Barrier before an important clash or if the squad is full health, but we should keep our Initiative mostly for
暗影削弱.
Beside the synergies, Support Spectre's kit will also grant us some extra tools to assist allies :
虹吸 will grant a Barrier to the selected Shrouded Ally.

永恒夜幕 will respectively grant massive amounts of Barrier and Healing based on the number of enemies struck.
We will aim to use these skills everytime we are able to, since we will need to wait for Initiative to refill and Wells Cooldowns to come back.
Example Rotation
Wells usage here is purely indicative, you can definitely adapt it to the situation.
For instance,
影幕 should preferably be used on the Well of Corruption Call to get benefit from its Pull. You can choose between
恩惠法池,
沉默法池 and
阴暗法池 when you respectively need Stability, Condition Removal or Healing at the moment you need a Dark Combo Field.
Keep in mind
虹吸 also generates a Dark Combo Field thanks to
