Weapon Variants

If you don't have access to land spear with Janthir Wilds, use Longbow instead.

• Longbow - provides high burst damage from range, but lacks the much-needed 决心 generation of spear and has slightly lower damage.

Skill Variants

Heal Skills

We default to 愤怒祷词 as it provides insane sustain, making you almost immortal for its duration. If needed, it can be replaced by:

• 决心纹章 can be considered as a more defensive option.
• 净化陷阱 provides more damage thanks to 猎龙者古物.

Utility Skills

We recommend: 利刃狂舞 for its damage, 激怒, and uptime of 猎龙者古物. Never replace it. 正义之剑 for its damage and vulnerability application. Can be replaced if needed. 怨毒纹章 as a passive damage increase. Can easily be replaced if needed. If you want or need to run other skills, here are some suggestions:

• 信仰试炼 - defense + offense; replaces 利刃狂舞 against moving targets and grants 保护.
• "守住阵线！" - defensive; grants area 保护 to yourself and nearby allies
• 反射之墙 - defensive; reflects projectiles
• "前进！" - defense; provides area 圣盾 and 迅捷
• "坚守阵地！" - defense; area 稳固 and personal stunbreak.
• 仁慈干涉 - mobility
• 庇护之地 - projectile block and extreme CC, though it has a long cooldown

Elite Skills

We default to 巨龙之咽 for its good damage and uptime of 猎龙者古物. If really needed, it can be replaced by:

• 专注复苏 - defensive option.
• "怒气冲天！" - area 急速 and 激怒.

Variants

• 重击之光 - can be considered for long fights vs. defiant enemies such as bosses. It has slightly lower burst but higher sustained damage. When using this trait, do not use , as it will reduce your uptime of 侵略狂热 for no gain.

Ascended gear and stat infusions are not required; you can use exotic gear with the same stats.

Standard Equipment

This set uses gear that is generally applicable in all of PVE.

If you are gearing this character from zero, start with exotic quality gear. Search the trading post for "Devona" armor. Then search for the weapons you want to use: "Impaler" spear, "Ebonblade" greatsword, "Eir's Longbow" longbow. Upgrade to ascended gear as you progress. See also: Guide

• Consider 萨奇洛斯古物 to trade damage for high sustain. If you lack access to Dragonhunter and Zakiros, consider 潜行者古物.
• For defense, equip the highest tier Jade Core you can afford. Use defensive food or skills if required.
