Tempest - Condi Fire DPS

The gist of the rotation is to camp 火焰协调, using almost all your skills off cooldown.

• Start with elementals summoned if possible.
• 火焰过载 is your highest priority outside of the opener (see below), followed by 烈焰之墙, 火焰纹章 then 大地纹章.
  • Try to stand inside your target's hitbox, as this skill combos with itself, firing whirl finishers in all direction.
• Cast all skills off cooldown, with the exception of 火焰护盾 and 秘法绚爆:
  • 火焰护盾 is used to maintain the 暴风咏叹 buff. This buff is triggered at the start and end of 火焰过载, so you want to use 火焰护盾 just after the buff runs out - this will be when Overload Fire has an ~8 second cooldown remaining (assuming you have 敏捷).
    • Spreading them out like this also ensures that you are able to use 逆向转化火焰 twice - if both skills were used too close to each other, Transmute Fire would still be on cooldown.

Defiance Bars

• Switch to 空气协调 for 狂风涌流 and 目盲之光.
• You can also switch to 流水协调 for 寒冰彗星.

Food

• 盘装牛肉仁当, or ascended alternatives

Utility

• 剧毒调谐水晶
  • 大师调谐水晶 or 协调冰柱 for a cheaper alternative

The difference in these two utilities is roughly 0.5% dps, so use what you feel you can afford.

Skill Variants

• If you do not have time (e.g. during pre-events) to pre-cast 小型元素雕文 a few times, then 风暴雕文 may be a stronger choice.
• Thanks to 石刻纹章, 大地纹章 provides 180 toughness while it is in cooldown. If this would interfere with tanking, you can swap the skill out for 风暴雕文.

• This setup deals almost identical damage to one using full Viper stats gear, 超级陷阱师符文 and a 超级焚烧法印 instead of the 超级渴求法印. This setup is identical to that used by the full Condi Tempest build, with the exception of the weapons.
