A Luminary support build for raids and fractals.
While having good healing, Luminary doesn't cover many boons automatically so weapon and utility selection is important to make sure everything is covered.

The main weakness of this build is
威能 provision. This can be provided by Staff or Spear, which should be enough to cap might in most situations but be aware you may need to bring more.
"前进!" or relics, the only source of
迅捷 you have is on Staff, which is why it is recommended over Spear. With the default build, you should be able to maintain
保护 and
再生, but your uptime is quite tight for a healer, so you may need to pad it with
"守住阵线!" or:
保护.As Luminary is a defensive support, it's important to swap skills to fit the encounter. All of the following utility skills and elite skills are viable depending on the situation:
Utility
英勇姿态 - a good all-rounder that provides
稳固 on demand with bonus healing and padding of
保护 uptime.
辉耀姿态 - a good amount of barrier on a low cooldown, on a class with pretty limited access. Also CCs.
真理之弓 - the strongest sustained healing utility guardian has, and can provide it over a large area at range.
神圣之地 - A source of pulsing
稳固 for your team. Longer duration, but harder to use than
"坚守阵地!".
"坚守阵地!" - Instant AoE stun break and
稳固.
愤怒纹章 - alternative signet if the DPS in your subgroup deal mainly condition damage.
仁慈纹章 - if you think a ranged revive will be needed.
"守住阵线!" - more
保护 and
再生 uptime.
"前进!" - could be used if you need to apply
圣盾 in a large AoE.
复仇之盾 - destroys projectiles in fights like Arkk. Isn't always reliable as the shield has very low health and can be killed easily.
反射之墙 - reflects projectiles.
智慧之锤 - even more CC.
庇护之地 - very strong CC, plus the combination of and means this triggers the heal on CC seven times so it's a powerful heal (though not quite as powerful as ).
Elite
All three of the Luminary grandmaster traits are useful to a support healer so you can pick depending on the playstyle you prefer:
光明启迪 allows you to access your virtue skills more frequently, which in turn gives you more of the empowered versions of your radiant forge skills. As well as the healing increase from more
光耀决心s, it improves your access to
圣盾.
光明君主 provides healing by detonating light auras, so the playstyle will revolve around frequent use of Luminary skills.
武器大师 gives you more frequent access to your radiant forge skills, also allowing you to use them more reactively if you keep your virtues passive. The default build uses
光明启迪 as it provides more healing than
武器大师, while only offering slightly less
威能. More importantly, it allows for permanent
保护 and
再生 uptime without the need to use any particular weapon, as well as much better access to
光耀勇气. Additionally, while
光明君主 can compete in terms of raw healing, it also requires a stricter rotation and dedicating multiple slots to stances, while
光明启迪 is much more flexible.
Other trait options:
防护复苏 if you want more
保护 for your party.
守护复苏 great trait for speedy reviving.
纯洁之心 - Worse
威能 uptime for slightly better heal potential. Popular choice for Raids.
意志之力 if your party can't stay stacked in your symbols.
奉献大师 if you're running consecrations.
纯粹决心 or
战斗灵气.
敏捷 is provided by equipping weapons inside Radiant Forge, which is available on a low cooldown at all times.
威能 comes from a few places, but maximising uptime involves making frequent use of either Staff or Spear for
能量引导 or
闪耀圆转, respectively.
You can be effective by camping this weapon, activating your Virtues, and jumping into Radiant Forge whenever you would be autoattacking.
保护 and
再生 can be a little tight, so you will also want to switch to Mace/Shield on occasion to provide a buffer of these boons. A simpler alternative is to bring
"守住阵线!" and use it off cooldown, but this requires giving up a utility slot. Weapon swapping efficiently will also maximise your healing output.
Virtues
You can use
光耀正义 and
光耀决心 off cooldown as the timing of their active effects is not crucial. You may not always wish to do so with
光耀勇气 though, as it provides both
圣盾 and
稳固 which can be used to mitigate dangerous attacks. You have plenty of other ways of providing these boons, but they require sacrificing a utility slot or may be gated by weapon swaps or Radiant Forge cooldowns. If there aren't particular mechanics you must block, you can just use
光耀勇气 off cooldown as well.
The default builds uses
光明启迪, which drastically reduces the cooldown of your Virtues whenever you equip a radiant weapon. This can mean it is worth very slightly delaying your Radiant Forge if a Virtue is about to come off cooldown. At the very least, if a Virtue is off cooldown, you should use it before equipping any radiant weapons.
Radiant Forge
There are two general approaches you can take to Radiant Forge use: enter nearly off cooldown and alternate between using three weapons, and just
晕眩巨锤; or slightly delay the use of Radiant Forge so you can use three each time. The former approach maximises
敏捷 and
威能 uptime, while the latter maximises healing and
保护 (though uptimes off all boons should be permanent regardless). You can maintain
敏捷 by just using
晕眩巨锤 and
夜光法杖, but there's little downside to throwing in
闪光利刃 as well.
Practically speaking, outside of the opener it is simplest to prioritise weapon skills and use as many skills as are available whenever you reach Radiant Forge.
When
夜光法杖 is available, make sure it is your last equipped weapon so that you will continue to benefit from the 15% healing modifier of . The flip skills of and are only for damage so there's no reason to use them. You should always use as it is a heal and condi cleanse.
can be used for extra , but it is also one of your sources of , and the is a CC, so it can be useful to hold on to it to deal with mechanics. Unlike other skills, and are triggered at the start of the animation rather than the end, so you can interrupt it and all you lose is the channelled block.
In real encounters, you may need to adjust your rotation to the situation based on whether healing is needed or when you need to provide / etc.
Example Opener Begin on Staff or Spear
Healing from traits:
Many Luminary abilities apply Luminary's Blessing. This effect reduces incoming strike damage while active, and heals when it expires. Like , reapplying the effect counts as it expiring. Luminary's Blessing is applied by the following:
The following healing is available regardless of setup:
There are two options for heal skill that aid allies:
There are many utility options that heal:
There are two elite options that heal:
Aside from symbols, the following weapons have skills that heal:
Finally, with any blast finisher becomes a heal (assuming there is a field to combo with):
You don't have a huge amount of condi cleanse for a healer, though your frequent combos with light fields means it is relatively consistent:
You could also consider running to help mitigate the effects of damaging conditions, but this is rarely useful.
Alacrity Applied in an AoE every time you equip a radiant weapon, via .
Aegis The duration on is long enough that uptime on allies is permanent (assuming they don't get hit). With the cooldown reduction of , and always having access to , and , it is rare that you'll need to dedicate a slot to .
Fury You should be using frequently enough that is not a problem, but in case you want more:
Might can provide ~16 if used frequently enough, and (via ) can provide another ~6. If you need to provide all 25 stacks alone, you'll need to bring either Staff or Spear. You could also use , but it's not hard to bring either of these weapons.
Protection You can just about scrape 100% uptime of with , and using and nearly off cooldown. Practically speaking, you'll want at least one other source for it to be reliable:
Regeneration With , should be enough to maintain , but an extra source can be nice:
Resistance and Resolution You provide a small amount of with , and (Spear) offers a bit more.
Resolution can be found on , and you can make uptime permanent if you wish, but neither of these boons is so important that it's likely to be worth it:
Stability uptime could be permanent if you dedicate two utility slots to it, but this is of niche use and your frequent makes it less necessary. Your sources are:
Swiftness It's preferable not to need to rely on a relic for (especially as it won't be permanent), so one of the following is very useful to bring:
Vigor Unfortunately, your only source of is Longbow, which is not a great heal weapon and would compromise your other boon provision. The uptime would be permanent though, and with , you would still have some healing.
The following is only a suggestion. This is enough to start you with 25 and a decent buffer of and .
If running , all these skills will heal allies.
This version gives you more toughness and vitality for surviving or tanking.
