• This is a good example of just how effective the build can be even with very cheap gear. While the kill wasn't fast by any means, the Dire variant of the build had plenty of damage and sustain to take on one of the stronger champion mobs.

Pets

• Warthog - condition damage, provides crowd control
• Bristleback - best condi pet for ranged DPS
• Murellow - great defensive option
• Jacaranda - the strongest defensive pet when unmerged, provides significant healing when merged
• Eagle - provides excellent mobility

Weapon Variants

• Axe: can be a good alternative to mainhand dagger in open world, where the range of axe might make it more desirable.

Skill Variants

秃鹰姿态, "同心治疗！", and 独狼之力 are core to this build, replace them only if absolutely necessary.

General Tips

• This build's damage relies heavily on application.
• With shortbow, flanking enemies is important, as shortbow skills deal significantly more damage when hitting from the back or the side. Dodge through enemies before unloading burst to proc Spam and off cooldown while auto-attacking
• Use and stances off cooldown.
• If crowd control isn't important, use to proc . for a damage increase.
• With daggers, use often to proc . Do not interrupt AA chains and use off cooldown. Use when the enemy is movement impaired such as after .

• This build has high endurance regeneration and an extra evade on each weapon set.

If you are gearing this character from zero, start with exotic quality gear. Search the trading post for "Viper's Abomination" weapons. Viper exotic armor is very expensive, so we recommend a budget alternative called Carrion (search the trading post for "Shiro" armor) until you can get Viper gear such as by farming Bladed armor or by acquiring ascended armor.
