First we establish the core loop, which generates the majority of your Life Force and accounts for half your damage. It goes as follows:
The Filler are skills introduced in step 3 or Auto Attacks for now. Never delay anything in the core loop to cast a filler skill.
While maintaining the rhythm of this loop, always keep at least 1 Shade up using . Outside doing some damage, this will give you bonus stats from .
Here we start to utilize our hard earned Life Force. Use and off Cooldown. Both are instant cast and can be used at any time, even while casting other skills. counts as "entering and exiting shroud" for the purposes of traits and effects, such as .
This step introduces the filler skills of Torch: and . Though both deal great damage or provide other utility, also comes with the added benefit of 5% Life Force, so you should never run out at this point. Use both off Cooldown, however make sure to not delay any of the skills from the previous two steps.
While is the default choice of last utility slot, for the majority of encounters you should be picking any other utility skill you can make use of. See our Condition Scourge page for more information.

Finally, add in utility skills. Just like with the previous step, these are filler skills and should not interfere with the core loop.
The only thing left to learn is the opener, which can be found on the Condition Scourge page. The utility skills in the benchmark video may be slightly different, but this is to optimize golem damage. The bonus Life Force of makes the rotation more forgiving in real encounters and it comes with the ability to Revive a Downed ally. The same goes for : the group Barrier and boon corruption is more valuable than the minute damage increase of . These should stay our default choices.
